for people having issues with Skype taking up too much CPU

its honestly a pretty simple fix 

1. go to options
2. go to advanced and then the subcategory connection
3. untick box “use port 80 and 443 as additional incoming connections”
4. restart 
5. ????
6. profit!!!

for most people, this should work. port 80 and 443 are merely fallback ports in the case that your randomized port doesn’t work. you can always re-tick it if this fix does not work for you. it won’t damage anything. 

please reblog this because i just tried it and skype went from sucking up 27% of my CPU to only about 0.2%. i know this is a major issue for a lot of people!!
