Please do not make fun of people who have troubles reading or writing or can’t do simple math just because their minds work differently…

I know a guy who drew pictures so accurate and specific they looked like photographs and it was all from memory.. he has social anxiety and refuses to read something out loud or write down something to someone because he was so afraid he might get words mixed up.

I know a girl who saw the world in such a special way .. that having one conversation with her is like taking semesters of anthropology classes just because of the way she loved people and how things work.. she has troubles reading an analog clock and only wears digital so that when someone ask her for the time she didn’t want to feel like dying.

I know people who are so traumatised from public humiliation they had in school because teachers thought they were playing some kind of game with them by not answering questions they asked..

Making fun of people with learning disabilities shouldn’t make you feel smart and good about yourself .. they are capable of things you dream about having.
