as of right now, I need absolutely any help that is physically possible, be it through pray or physical actions.
Some background on this,
I’ve been accepted to New College of Florida, which is an In state university in the state of Florida, I however am from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, so the total cost of attendence at said university is around $42,000 for me. Throughout highschool I worked and worked, graduating as a full Ib Diploma Candidate, which is partly why I believe I’ve been accepted into such a great university, but all in all, my college awarded me scholarships, grants, and I was given federal loans to equal around $28,000, which will stay the same for the duration of my 4 years I attend this university.
Now, as for why I’m making this fundraiser is because I desperately need help, I am a child of a single mother who’s credit is too poor to be considered for a loan, and I’ve exhausted just around every option there is of a cosigner, and with college just right around the corner, I don’t know where else to turn.
This is so monumentally important to me, since I will be one of the first people in my family to attend college, and graduate from it within the last 60 years, but I however can’t do that without paying for my university. So, I want to start the streak with my own family with this, to show them it’s possible, by being one of the first people in my family for a long while to actually get a college education that surpasses just a bachelor’s degree, my hope is to attend the Graduate School of University of Chicago and obtain my PhD in Environmental Sciences, but I of course can’t do that without first graduating with a degree from this 4 year university.
