Fenris’s mix is bassy, moody and industrial. But also capable, controlled and intense, and carefully revealing… 

It was difficult not to want to fill this list entirely with Muse, and not just because Matt Bellamy’s vocals make for a great comparison. But I like that broody can still allow himself a little levity underneath all those spikes, hence the dash of 80s new wave. Light & dark, like lyrium & ink. 😉
