Whenever I own a house, I fully intend to build the cats a catio because catios are awesome.

Do they have dog versions as well? This is amazing

Absolutely no reason you can’t let your dog into one of these as well! 

I’d reccomend a few modifications though-

• Rather than shelves on the walls, high benches or a central climb-ups so doggo can get to a slightly elevated space (dogs like being able to look around from a high vantage point). 
• heavy-duty grate, not screen or mesh becuase a determined doggo who Just Wants A Bunny Snack can go right through lighter screens.
• Some of these already have sand pits for digging, which is a good funtime activity for cats and dogs alike, but if you’ve got a big digger, make sure the cement foundations go down a ways.
• Since the cats use a lot of vertical space but dogs can’t climb like they do, you might make the run slightly larger in general
