If we went home from our 9 – 5 jobs with 3 – 4 hours of extra work every day, we’d lose our minds. But we do it to high school kids and see absolutely no problem with it.
It builds discipline. If you go to college, you will have all nighters. If you build a white collar career and get on salary, you will be taking work home. I’m not on salary and am simply licensed in my field and have work to do at home.
Discipline won’t kill you.
Kids don’t exist to become workers drones.
Discipline literally does kill people when they overwork and die because they’re told they’re nothing if they don’t fit themselves into being another brick in the wall of society.
