A lot of ppl bash on the whole cottagecore/farmcore/dirtcore/whatever trend but honestly? I love it. I grew up poor as shit living on a small beef farm in the middle of nowhere. For a long time I felt like an outcast for the way I dressed and acted. Being the redneck hick in overalls and goodwill sweaters. Now ppl think it’s cool that I know how to drive a tractor/catch a greased pig/plant crops/etc. And u kno what the fuck else!!

This is getting younger folks interested in farming and living off the land! This world needs interested and excited ppl wanting to learn abt sustainable farming. And plus !! They ain’t hurting anybody !! So literally I just do not understand how ppl can get so twisted over something so trivial.

And also like….who cares if they’re just using it as an aesthetic cuz it’s cute !! Anyways. I have Said My Piece. The End.
