This is a wild idea but maybe the people who live in them
right-wingers: our ideology is all about freedom and self-ownership =)
left-wingers: cool, lets expand that sentiment by allowing people to control the spaces they occupy and doing away with landlordism
right-wingers:
You guys: let’s take control of the places we live in!
The landlords: buying this place costs 10 times your rent and you become responsible for all the upkeep.
You guys: what? Things I want to own cost money and responsibility???
